Lumi Space is developing a precision retroreflector to help locate satellites more accurately, reducing collisions and space debris. The team came to the accelerator to explore different manufacturing and testing processes for their product. Using high-accuracy CNC milling equipment, we worked with them to create prototypes and test materials. We also turned some future product ideas into eye-catching promotional content.


Lumi Space left the accelerator with a refined design for manufacture, and a clear path to their first space launch. Their retroreflector is due to be mounted on a satellite and launched into orbit in early 2023.
